Meet Olivia LaCasse, LMSW

Full-Time Clinician - OCD & Anxiety Therapy in Connecticut

Hello! My name is Olivia LaCasse, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker at Blossom Grove Therapy. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety and OCD, with a focus on how these patterns develop, shift, and persist over time.

In our work together, we will focus on building a different relationship with fear, uncertainty, and discomfort. Rather than trying to eliminate anxiety, I help clients develop the capacity to sit with difficult thoughts and feelings while moving toward what matters most to them.

My approach is human-centered, empathetic, and collaborative, honoring where these patterns began while supporting meaningful change in the present. I strive to meet clients where they are and support them in making realistic, lifelong changes that improve quality of life.

If you are seeking compassionate, thoughtful support as you face anxiety with courage and intention, I would be honored to work with you.

My Approach to Therapy

Do you ever feel like anxiety is running the show? Are intrusive thoughts or OCD patterns keeping you stuck or second-guessing yourself? You're not alone, and we can approach this differently.

I work with children, teens, and adults to understand how anxiety and OCD take shape, why they stick around, and how to change your relationship with them. In our work together, we'll focus on building your ability to tolerate uncertainty and discomfort, so you can move toward the life you want, rather than the one fear would choose for you.

My work is informed by evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and exposure-based strategies, always tailored to your pace and your readiness for change. I won't ask you to move faster than you're ready to, and we'll work toward changes that are realistic and lasting, not just quick fixes.
