Meet Kristina Kelly, LMSW
Full-Time Clinician - OCD, Anxiety, and Life Transition Therapy in Connecticut
Hi, I’m Kristina Kelly, a Licensed Master Social Worker at Blossom Grove Therapy. I work with individuals throughout Connecticut who are navigating OCD, anxiety, overthinking, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions.
When worry, intrusive thoughts or uncertainty begin taking over, even everyday decisions can feel exhausting. You may find yourself second-guessing your choices, avoiding situations that feel uncomfortable, or struggling to feel grounded in school, work, relationships, or your sense of self.
My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can better understand what is contributing to your symptoms, process difficult emotions, and begin building a stronger sense of confidence and control.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, trying new hobbies, and finding opportunities to make life feel adventurous. Snowboarding, paddleboarding, swimming, travelling, and live music are some of the ways I stay grounded and support my own well-being.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection. My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and grounded in the understanding that each person brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals into the therapy room.
Together, we may explore patterns and unhelpful thoughts that are keeping you stuck, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward changes that feel realistic and meaningful in your daily life.
I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). These approaches can help you respond differently to anxious or intrusive thoughts, reduce avoidance, build tolerance for discomfort, and reconnect with the parts of life that matter most to you.
