Meet Keila Sandoval, LMSW

Part-Time Clinician - OCD, Anxiety, and Depression Therapy in Connecticut

Hi, I'm Keila Sandoval, a Licensed Master Social Worker at Blossom Grove Therapy. I know that reaching out for support can be a difficult and vulnerable step, and I strive to create a warm, open, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, supported, and truly seen.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing OCD and anxiety disorders, with a particular focus on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. If you are struggling with OCD, you may find yourself caught in cycles of intrusive thoughts, obsessions, compulsions, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance, and these experiences can feel overwhelming. Together, we work toward responding differently to anxiety and uncertainty, rather than letting OCD dictate your choices.

I also support adults navigating anxiety, including social anxiety and illness anxiety, as well as depression. I believe you are more than your OCD, anxiety, or depression, and therapy should be a space where your experiences, values, identities, and goals are respected.

My goal is not simply to help you reduce symptoms, but to support you in building the confidence and skills to live a life guided by what matters to you.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy is a partnership, and my goal is to meet you where you are while supporting you in working toward the life you want.

For OCD, I use ERP alongside the principles of CBT to help you understand the cycle of OCD and gradually challenge the thoughts, fears, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck. For anxiety, including social and illness anxiety, we work together to identify unhelpful patterns, gradually face feared situations, and build greater confidence in your ability to tolerate discomfort and uncertainty.

When working with depression, I incorporate CBT and behavioral activation to help identify the patterns that may be contributing to low mood, and to gradually reconnect you with the activities, relationships, and routines that support a more fulfilling life.

I am passionate about helping people recognize that OCD and anxiety do not define who they are. It is never too late to begin making changes and taking steps toward the life you want, and I would be honored to support you along that journey.
