Sherri L. O'Shea

Welcome!  I'm Sherri O'Shea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder of Blossom Grove Therapy. My group practice is dedicated to providing psychoeducation, support, and compassionate guidance to adults and adolescents struggling with OCD and other anxiety disorders.

If you struggle with OCD or anxiety, you know how hard it can be to cope and fully engage in life.  You may notice that you tend to avoid specific situations out of fear, resulting in missed opportunities to experience things that are meaningful to you.  In therapy, we will work together to identify your core values and use these values to guide your actions and decisions. My goal is to create a genuine connection and help you lead a full and meaningful life even in the presence of anxiety or OCD.

I am a certified provider of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD and also utilize I-CBT, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Perinatal Loss & Grief, and Circle of Security Parenting.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University in 2004 and am endorsed by the CT Infant Mental Health Association as an Infant Mental Health Mentor. I have worked in the field of mental health with adults, children and families for over 15 years.

Prior to starting my own Private Practice, I provided outpatient psychotherapy to children and families, provided mental health services to pregnant and postpartum women and their families and acted as supervisor of a community-based maternal and child health program.

Sarah Thibodeau

Hi! I'm Sarah Thibodeau, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Infant Mental Health Specialist.  In our fast-paced and overstimulating world, it's common to overlook our own needs. I know that the demands of daily life are often overwhelming and can hinder your efforts to prioritize self-care. Taking the initiative to seek support when you are distressed is a significant step, and I'm so glad you're here.

I specialize in working with adolescents, teens, and adults who are grappling with issues such as anxiety, low self-esteem, and the desire to make positive changes in their lives and relationships. Additionally, I offer support to those navigating life transitions and individuals at various stages of parenting.

Specialties include the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and I-CBT. In addition, I use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance-based approaches.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2020 and am endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist, through the Association of Infant Mental Health.  This endorsement recognizes culturally sensitive, relationship-based, infant and early childhood mental health learning and work experiences. I have been working in the field of mental health with adults, children and families for 10 years.

I am passionate in helping parents in the perinatal period and beyond, as well as working alongside teens and adolescents on issues such as self esteem and social skills. I strive to create a warm, empathetic and judgment-free space, and will partner with you to create an authentic relationship throughout treatment.

Jason Cassese

Hello! My name is Jason Cassese, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys partnering with clients in their efforts to achieve their wellness goals.

Overwhelming emotions and troublesome thoughts - whether they're related to current stressors or past experiences - can sometimes be burdensome and impact the extent to which we feel fulfilled in our lives. Whether such concerns tend to come and go rather quickly or linger for longer periods of time, therapy can be a safe space to better understand them and develop healthier ways of managing them. I strive to provide such a space for my clients, and my goal is to always do so with compassion and skillful treatment. I specialize in treating adolescents and adults who experience difficulties related to OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.  I utilize Exposure and Ritual Prevention, (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in my work with clients.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Saint Joseph in 2017. Since then, I have provided clients across the lifespan with various levels of therapy including short-term, outpatient, and intensive in-home therapeutic interventions. I have also served as manager of a community-based outpatient mental health clinic for clients across the lifespan as well as several child and adolescent mental health and support programs.

Amanda Liquori

Hey! My name is Amanda Liquori and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am passionate about my work supporting children, teens and young adults who struggle with anxiety and OCD.

I have provided direct care to individuals, groups and families through my work in intensive programs, and am committed to creating a safe, compassionate environment where my clients can explore their thoughts and emotions while developing the skills they need to manage anxiety and overcome OCD-related challenges

I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help clients build confidence and resilience.

I provide an empathetic approach that creates a safe environment for children and adults to express themselves, and I actively involve families in the therapeutic process to promote understanding and support.

I emphasize integrating mental health into daily life, encouraging healthy routines and coping strategies that improve overall well-being.

I obtained my Masters of Social Work at the University of Connecticut in 2023 and have since been providing direct clinical services at the partial hospitalization and outpatient levels.

In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, paddleboarding, going to see live music and traveling, which contributes to my own mental wellness.
